What is so wrong with our Senior Pastor driving a Jaguar?
Who are we to say he shouldn't, can't, mustn't?
Why are we so ready to assume he has not given to God what he should just because he chose this car?
Does that mean we think God is incapable of blessing him with a car? Or an even flashier car? Or house?
Have we considered that perhaps his wife is earning enough for it?
Do we have place in our hearts to be happy that he, as our SP, has blessings such as these?
Or do we still hold the same mindset/old wineskin/judgement that becos we serve fulltime, we should be like church mice. Always not having enough. Always trying to make ends meet. Always living one level below all of those who are working in the marketplace?
Can't we be happy for him when God blessed him just like when He blesses the rest of us with our 5 digit bonuses too? The basic principle in the Bible is "give and it will be given unto you". So why can't we understand the principle of sowing and reaping like the way it's meant to be understood? Rather than allowing dissension to seep into our midst, why not seek to understand and be happy for these we esteem as Leaders?
And ultimately, if we feel that he is stumbling us, then we should go and ask the man himself! Ask him and he will have an answer for us, I'm sure.
I'm ranting.
