Artist: Megan Sim (4 year old)

Would like to share with you some of our daughter's paintings from the art class she takes on a weekly basis. RUS Art studio, opened by Russ Teo (A fellow Trinitarian), holds art classes for children. Check these out!

Her very first painting where she learnt how to paint, how to hold her paintbrushes, how to draw fishes! And she realised how easy and enjoyable it was to create art pieces!

This was the start of the love she had for her weekly art classes. :)

This is my favourite. Love the use of the bold colours, which is a common trait in all her paintings. I'm heartened that in her little world, she sees and expresses through the colours that God has created... This "ladybuggies" was the start of the many pieces of 'ladybugs' art pieces she did! She likes to draw them to represent her family - Daddy, Mommy, Megan, Joejoe and there will always be a little one - Emma. Her dream baby sister :) And Daddy & Megan ladybugs will have glasses on them while Joejoe ladybug will always have a mischievious look on his insect-face. :)

And this is one of her most current paintings. One with Daddy riding on a bicycle, having fun! :)
Glad to also see that the faces she paints always having smiles on their faces! That tells me she is a happy child and for that I give thanks to the Lord. :)

She's created 10 pieces of artistic creations which she's given to the people she chooses each week. And in that, I know the art classes are worth every penny, cos they not only send the message of love to her receipients, they also provided her an avenue to express herself.

So proud of our little budding artist! Of course, her strokes can be improved, her perception of dimensions ought to be better, but to us, these are precious works of her creativity and a glimpse into her little world! And at 4 year old, what more should we ask for? : )
