The Year So Far

Like our new BlogSkin? :)
Really happy managed to find one that goes with the song of my heart for this season.
Indeed, the first 3 months of 2007 felt like fire-fighting months.
We put out one fire, and the next one starts.
From my granny's passing away, to two bouts of Chicken Pox, to a serious consideration of leaving CCSS and going into something else. GOSH. I've been busy. haha.

Struggle, fight, argue, struggle, give-in, surrender, struggle, retaliate, realign, fight temptations, fight voices, fight own will.

Out of all these, God just keeps telling me one thing. That He is the Lord. That He knows what He is doing. That I will see and understand His timing and His methods someday, somehow. In other words, yeah, He is just telling me to BE STILL.

This sure is hard. Perhaps it's got to do with my training. To choose to just sit there, to choose not to do anything (esp when I think I can do something!!!) and to choose to wait for Him to do His work - in my marriage, in my children's lives, in my family's destiny, in my calling. AHHH!!!
But He calls me to do the same thing each time I go to Him. Be still my child.

Be Still...
And He will fight your enemies for you.
And you will see the deliverance of the Lord.
And you will understand the unfolding of His purposes.
And He will show you beyond what you can think or imagine.
So He can truly be your God.
