Sori for silence!

Hi everyone! Apologies for the long silence! It's been crazy weeks past. :)
Praise God for bringing Alan and I through the last few weeks. There were exhilirating moments, heartbreaking moments, sweet moments as well as moments of silence to just yield upon God.

1. We celebrated our 8th Wedding Anniversary. :)
Thanks Yiyi and Drew for the free ride up on the Flyer. We were so blessed to have the entire cabin to ourselves and had a wonderful time basking in each other's presence in what seemed like a different timeframe... you know, just like doing something new & fresh (something you don't get to do that often in S'pore) all by ourselves.

8 years of bliss, shared with a good man. My man! :D Thank God.

2. We finally completed the 40hours of volunteer work with Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School as a Phase 2B parent volunteer. PtL! In fact, we clocked 46hours! haha... Some frens said we are kiasu - actually I think we are too... cos this school is not like a top choice amongst schools and we do live within 1km of it. But well, for piece of mind, we think it's worth it! And what's too much to do for our precious kids? We also gotto know some fellow "phase 2B" parents - our fellow "sloggers" in this 40 hour long journey! haha...

3. Alan completed his very first In-Camp Training. :)
One whole week of leaving the house before the sky was bright to travel all the way to Pasir Labar Camp, our Cyber Warrior took to his week-long training with much seriousness! He was excited and looking forward what he's got to learn and do. But, haha, he was idle for most parts of the week, only got to actually try his hand on the combat games on Wed! The kids and I prayed that he would find favour, find like-minded frens - and he did! Thank God.
Then he got news, that he'll be called back for TWO weeks in Nov. :(
Oh well...
