Our Much Anticipated Holiday - One Nite in Sentosa!

It's always nice to go somewhere away from home with the kids.
We were blessed with a free nite's stay at Rasa Sentosa with free breakfast!
They were really really excited and when we first reached Rasa Sentosa, they could hardly contain their bubbling inside anymore! They ran around the room and kept saying, "Hey, look at this!" haha... We got a Panaromic Executive Room and had a wonderful view of the beach and the sea . They loved the big king size bed, the bathtub (one of their fave things), the bathrobe, the toilet and the balcony. And their enthu was infectious!!!

Here are some pics of our first day there:

Gorgeous and therapeutic views from our room. :)

One of our favourite activities in Sentosa - the Luge and the Skyride! We even went twice on both days! Joejoe just kept asking Daddy (they were on one luge) to go faster faster!!! Megan and I took a nice leisurely ride. :)

At nite, we went to the Songs of the Sea
performance - it's supposed to have replaced the original water-fountain performance. So we were really expecting something as nice, if not nicer. But what we got out of it, were 4 of us, drenched with salt water and a less-than-half satisfied fulfilment of the performance. It was a mixture of our homegrown songs blended with the play of laser lights and pyrotechnics. To sit there just to be splashed by water really didn't feel v good...

Day Two
We had a really scrumptious brekkie!!! All 4 of us went for a few rounds at the buffet spread. What a treat!
The drink station alone served 7 different kinds of drinks! Well done, Rasa!!!
Then off we went to the beach, armed with "Beachworks" Sand Castle making tools borrowed from Rach. And here are some gorgeous pics of the fun we had to share with you:

And for the first time, the kids cried when we departed from Sentosa! Oh well! Holidays are always too SHORT!
