Eating, Sleeping, Breathing again...

I think most of our frens know that my (Sal) Dad's ordeal over the last weekend.
He had been detained by the Jakarta Immigration Department and was totally uncontactable. We had no idea where he was, who got him (if he was indeed in the hands of the Immigration Pp), why it happened and what we can do. The ordeal lasted 6 days. He took a Garuda flight last nite and safely returned into our arms at 10:16pm.

Throughout the whole ordeal, the family was worried and fearful, with lots of possible scenarios going through our heads. The scariest thing was not knowing where on earth he was. We didn't know if he was being tortured (too much "Prison Break") or if he had proper meals and all...he didn't have his high blood pressure medication with him, would he be ok?

Praise God for frens that we can call upon in the midst of bewilderment, people from Singapore Embassy in Indonesia, frens from MFA... They did all they could in helping us to locate Dad, although there was only this much that can be done on their part. Special thanks to our dear Pastor Bea. Gosh, she was the 1st person we called. What would we do without her advice, her continual reminder to hang on to the God we can trust. She is there is keep us to not give up, but to keep pushing and pushing. Her words had such authority! Big thanks to Fleming also!

To cut a long story short, Dad had been released from this freaky episode. 6 long days, where we almost forgot how to eat, to sleep, to breathe... just waiting to hear that he is ok, and that he is coming home.

Wanna say a BIG word of thanks to all our friends who prayed and interceded for favor and protection over my daddy. It is so precious to know the kind of prayer support we have in our larger family in Christ!
We are grateful!
